1. TRAINING OBJECTIVES
1.1. General objectives
Trained learners with practical knowledge, broad theoretical knowledge about the profession of Corporate Accounting; basic knowledge of politics, culture, society, law and information technology; have the cognitive skills, practical skills and communication skills necessary to solve complex problems or tasks, work independently or in groups in changing working conditions, take individual responsibility, minimal responsibility for guidance, supervision, and evaluation of the group performing defined tasks.
Trained learners, after completing the training program and being awarded a college degree, will take up work at the trained job positions. Through working time, accumulating experience, leaners can take up jobs, higher employment positions of the profession.
In addition, trained learners can participate in continuing education to higher levels or self-study to meet and develop their careers.
1.2. Detailed objectives
After graduation, trainees in Corporate Accounting are able to:
1.2.1 Knowledge
- Describe the basic activities of finance, accounting, tax, ... of an enterprise
- Demonstrate basic accounting methods
- Describe the process of making and circulating accounting documents, accounting entries and making accounting reports according to each job position.
1.2.2 Skills
- Make, classify, check and process accounting documents according to each job position
- Accurately make accounting entries in detailed and general accounting books according to each job position
- Create financial accounting reports and periodic tax reports
- Use accounting software and other softwares proficiently
- Exploit financial, accounting and tax policies and regimes to update accounting work at enterprises and other socio-economic organizations
- Make statistics, synthesizing and analyze accounting data when required at the enterprise
- Explain accounting data in an easy to understand way at the enterprise
- Use informatics to meet job requirements
- Use English as a foreign language equivalent to Beginner - Level 2 English according to Vietnam Foreign Language Competency Framework (compatible with A2 level in CEFR)
1.3. Job position after graduation
After graduating from Corporate Accounting, learners can work in the positions related to:
- Sales accountant
Graduates are able to work in manufacturing, trade, service and other socio-economic organizations belonging to economic sectors in the national economy.
